Database: Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals (NEW!): How to Access Articles

Accessing Articles

The first step is to click on "Access Option" and most likely you will then click on "Full Text Finder" to find out how to access your articles.

These are the three scenarios you will encounter when trying to access articles on Avery:

1. Available online - either through our databases or open access journals

2. Available in print at the library

3. Not available online or in the library - Request through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Here are some reference photos of each scenario:

Scenario 1: Available Online

When an article is available online, you will see a link similar to below:

Scenario 2: Available in Print at the Library

For onsite students, you will note down the publication title, date, volume/issue, and page numbers. Then, visit the library to access it in our periodical shelves. For an in-depth overview of this process, check out the first example on this research guide.

For distance students, please send us an email with a scan request and we will deliver over email for you.

Scenario 3: Not available online or in the library
