Looking for building code information from another state? 

Public.Resource.Org is nonprofit organization that collects and stores government codes and regulations from across the United States online. They offer a free database to search for required codes for all the states within the United States of America. Links are provided to the codes which have been scanned and provided free of charge online.

Looking for information on the National Building Code ? 

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released the following website that can assist you in your research on the National Building Code.  Remember that structures built on federal land, must obey the National Building Code. You may find information on the National Building Code by following this link.
