Since 2006, the non-profit, 501(c)(3) research organization Architecture 2030 has been collaborating with governments, architectural firms, universities, and professional organizations to design and fund building projects that, "achieve a dramatic reduction in the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of the built environment by 2030,".

Founded by the former Vice President and climate activist Al Gore The Climate Reality Project "recruits, trains, and mobilizes" groups of activists in 140 branches throughout the U.S., and 10 branch offices internationally. The activist program is known as the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, guided by the mission of creating real change in all areas of society by pursuing aggressive, urgent activism that demands policies to diminish the harm caused by climate change.

Indigenous Climate Action is an organization that works to support Indigenous-led climate change mitigation strategies by providing resources such as Climate Leadership Training, Healing Justice work, and the ICA Toolkit designed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders to create shareable methods of community-based climate solutions and mobilization.

NASA's Global Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet site is dedicated to making NASA's current scientific findings on climate change widely accessible to the public through interactive resources and other published guides on various areas of climate change research.
