Misspellings

Search Results – too many or too few

If you search for "Frederick Law Olmsted" (the landscape architect), you may get several hundred search results. If you want to narrow your results and find images of the Emerald Necklace within that large broad result, use the left sidebar "Refine Results" filter and type in “Emerald Necklace” within "Search Within Results".

If you have too few results, use the same search methods that you may have employed with Avery Index or Art Full Text when searching for journal articles. Determine whether the building is known by another name or try searching by the designer’s last name and the location of the building. If you search for towers or courtyards or row-houses, you may need to use other terms to broaden or narrow your search.
